Our Founder

Hans van de Ven is a Dutch entrepreneur with over 50 years of experience in manufacturing, international trade, production, and logistics.

His entrepreneurial journey began at 23, when he invented the windsurfing board and started three factories in the Netherlands, exporting worldwide — making him a pioneer in the industry from the very start.

In 2005, Hans founded BioKing®, a Dutch green energy company with production facilities in the Netherlands, Spain, and Canada. He later founded AlgeLink, focused on algae-based biofuel technologies. Both companies were successfully sold within three years — a testament to his ability to build, scale, and exit businesses profitably.

Hans has advised multinational corporations on engineering, business development, and sustainable technologies, including solar energy, biofuels, biodiesel refineries, biogas, and lithium extraction.

He has been featured in CNN, Canadian Television, Dutch Television, Biodiesel Magazine, and numerous other international media outlets.
